Tim McCarthy, Architect P.C. is a published firm specializing in light commercial and residential projects. From being raised on a dairy farm, to working in the trades, to building several of his designs, Tim's architectural skills have developed from the ground up. Although traditional architectural education involves little or no construction experience, we feel hands on knowledge is essential. A true understanding of construction techniques and materials is integral in the process of designing beautiful and cost efficient buildings. We design (and sometimes build), practical, elegant buildings. The architectural firm of Tim McCarthy, Architect has been providing architectural services to the North Country since 1997. Tim's path towards becoming a registered architect has been a unique blend of "hands on" construction experience, formal education and apprenticeship time.
